Fiber Analyst (Inside IR35)

The main function of a fiber analyst is to and perform fiber cable telecommunication moves, adds, and changes. A typical fiber analyst is responsible for the design, installation, and analysis of all fiber optic cable systems.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform research, calculations, and analysis for all fiber cable design and installation projects
Provide engineering support for fiber cable system infrastructure
Coordinate, review and perform all moves, add, and changes necessary
Coordinate, review and perform repair services in emergency situations
Maintain records and prepare required reports relevant to the operations of fiber cable telecommunications

Qualifications:
Associate's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
Experience supporting multiple hosted telecommunication systems; certification a plus
Experience in fiber optic cable design and implementation projects
Experience managing small to medium projects
Excellent communications and customer service skills
Ability to use full Microsoft Suite
Needs a general understanding of IP Networking and routing protocols
