Job Description

The Technical Architect will play a key role in the design, implementation and support of innovative, accreditable, cost efficient and profitable solutions to comply with HMG's security classification system. These solutions are central for the Company's secure managed ICT services to MoD and other public-sector customers.

Responsibilities:

Design Support:

• Manage the design process, including participating in reviews, and documenting relevant inputs.

• Produce all design documentation where appropriate. Including handover to Service Operations for build and support activities.

System Installation:

• Ensure all appropriate installation documentation is produced and aligns to the HLD.

• Test & Development:

• Conduct research into products and solutions.

• Building and integrating appropriate prototypes and technology demonstrators.

• Support the development of build and test facilities.

Systems Maintenance:

• Act as a service subject matter expert and respond where appropriate to escalated incidents and problems and change requests to ensure the timely update of the company's Service Management ticketing system.

Required Skills

• (Must) Minimum of 12 months experience in delivering complex technology projects.

• (Should) A good understanding of current HMG security classifications.

• (Should) Experience of managed service environments, with an awareness of ITIL best practice.

• (Must) Minimum of 3 years experience of build, test and implementation of systems, along with 3rd line operational support.
