An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cyber Security Risk Manager to join a well-known international bank based in the region of Birmingham.

The Cyber Security Risk Manager is required within the 2nd Line of Defence to provide independent oversight and advice to the business.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing security advice and latest best practices to ensure the adoption of a risk-based approach to Cyber Security
• Provide tailored advice to a range of stakeholders on how to remediate identified risks by proportionately applying security capabilities, using published guidance, standards, and drawing on a range of experts as well as personal expertise
• Provide expert security advice that highlights Cyber Security related risks, so risk or the IT Security team can make well-informed and auditable decisions
• Analyse and advise on the technical and security solutions required to operate and protect IT systems and services
• Understands cyber security from a technical perspective
• should have a practical understanding of Cyber Security from practical implementation, understand cybersec controls what they controls do and how they protect the business from potential threats.
• Experience of IS27001/NIST/CIS
