Role Description:

Design Engineer x 3
As an Airframe Repair Design Engineer, you will be fundamental to our ability to deliver to our customers and clients. Our customer expectations are high, as such we are looking for adaptive and driven candidates to deliver on time to required quality.

Responsibilities:
Take ownership of airframe daily or major repairs, either by performing the work or by supervising the Back Office team.
Analyse the applicability of the repairs. Find out about the repair or A/C configuration.
Propose the appropriate repair solutions.
For major repairs, perform modelling of the solution in Catia/3DEXPERIENCE, and liaise with other specialists (eg stress).
Support of structural assembly activities.
Create/update justification documents of the repair solutions.
Analyse and design the modifications or corrective actions into the Structural Repair Manual.
Report and exchange information both ways, across trans-national team.

Skills and Qualifications:
Qualified Mechanical Engineer in structural design.
Proven experience in structural aircraft design in metallic and composites structures, especially in in-service repairs or concessions.
Sound engineering judgement approach to repairs or concessions with clear understanding of the assumptions and simplifications accepted by OEMs.
Experience in handling Airbus documentation (Drawings, Technical notes, Manuals, Service Bulletin, SRM)
Experience in customer service documentation (AIRNAV, SRM, AMM, IPC) and ATA structure chapter (ATA 51, 52, 53, 57 ).
Experience in Catia modelling or 3DEXPERIENCE.
Strong ability to work autonomously but also as part of a trans-national team.
Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-priority tasks, responsiveness.
