Instrument Support Engineer (m/f/d)- Diagnostic Instruments/HW/SW/IT-infrastructure/BSL 1 & 2/English & German

For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a highly qualified Instrument Support Engineer (m/f/d).

The perfect candidate:
We are looking for a professional candidate who has the Lab Hardware experience and the ability to use the technical knowledge to troubleshoot, maintain and support the hardware.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Technical expert and point of contact for our internal customers regarding service aspects
* Installation and commissioning of instruments
* Autonomous troubleshooting and logging of hardware and software issues
* Deployment and servicing of various instruments and their configurations
* Documentation according to quality standards
* Support of global development trials

Must Haves:
* Min. Higher educational degree in technical engineering or life sciences discipline (eg Medical devices, Electronic/Automation, Mechatronics) or corresponding job experience including apprenticeship
* Min. 3 - 5+ years experience as Service Engineer for (Lab)Instruments, preferably within the regulated environment
* Know-how in hardware, software and IT-infrastructure as well as experience in servicing of diagnostics instruments
* Min. 3 - 5+ years experience in resolution of technical problems in an interdisciplinary environments (laboratory, software, hardware, workflow)
* Experience in and/or willingness to work in a highly regulated industry and in labs with biosafety levels S1 and S2
* Fluency in German (spoken and written) and good business English (min. B2 Level)
* Customer- and service-oriented, enthusiastic team player with good communication and collaboration skills, autonomous and proactive working style
* Ability to communicate with different internal stakeholders, translate and understand their business needs
