Software Development Manager-C#/.net

My client, a Leading Regulatory and Governance organisation, is looking to recruit a Software Development Manager, who can lead a team of software developers to successfully deliver improvements to core applications.

This great opportunity based in London is offering Hybrid working solutions, excellent benefits and paying up to £73,000 per annum!

You will be accountable for

• Project teams to provide technical steer, estimates and identify potential challenges
• Being a go-to person for technical queries about our applications
• Working with Microsoft Visual Studio Team System (VSTS) to manage source code, covering the applications' life cycle

• Ensuring your team are making valuable contributions to scrum activities
• Working collaboratively to assess the potential impact of a range of Leading and managing the delivery of enhancements across all our core applications

Requirements:

• Previous line management experience - driving performance through team.
• Broad experience of creating codes and development frameworks across a range of applications, with advanced expertise in relation to at least one of Dynamics CRM, Azure or SharePoint Online
• Considerable success as a software developer working with a range of technologies in partnership with 3rd party suppliers
• Working with business users to deliver on their requirements - you'll need to understand clearly what your customers are using the systems for.
• Test driven development, unit testing and continuous integration

Desirable but not essential

• Holding a current developer's certificate
• Having extensive Microsoft development experience in C# -
• Good knowledge of best practices for .NET development
• messaging, especially MSMQ
• Rest services
• relational databases
• knowledge of PowerShell
