Systems Engineer - Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS)

Responsibilities:

My client is now urgently looking for a EWIS Senior Systems Engineer with a focus on the left side of the V model with particular interest in defining the Verification & Validation (V&V) process, in addition to being responsible for the EWIS certification plan and communication with the regulation authorities (FAA and EASA).

Requirements:

• Knowledge of systems engineering development according to ARP4754A, safety and certification processes such as AC 25.1701-1, AMC 20-23, CS-25 subpart H and electrical standards such as AC43.13-1B.
• Experience of electrical or avionics systems, grounding and bonding, or similar domain is necessary
• Experience of Electromagnetic Environmental Effects, and DO160 awareness is highly appreciated.
• Experience of managing suppliers is required.
• Fluent English skills

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of PDM/PLM and EWIS design CAD software (NX & Capital or similar)
• Fluent in German or any other language
