Senior Systems Engineer - Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS)

LENGTH: INITIAL 6 MONTH CONTRACT (Likely extensions)
START DATE: IMMEDIATE (Urgent role)
LOCATION: ONSITE IN BAVARIA - with possibility of remote working
SALARY: UP TO €93,000 (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

My client is now urgently looking for a EWIS Senior Systems Engineer with a focus on the left side of the V-model with regards to defining the requirements for the subsystems and related components, in addition to continuously improving the system and item design.

Requirements:

• Degree in relevant engineering discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related field required.
• Minimum 10 years of aerospace experience, with good knowledge of a Part 21J design organisation environment.
• Knowledge of systems engineering development according to ARP4754A, safety and certification processes such as AC 25.1701-1, AMC 20-23, CS-25 subpart H and electrical standards such as AC43.13-1B.
• Experience of electrical or avionics systems, grounding and bonding, or similar domain is necessary
• Experience of Electromagnetic Environmental Effects, and DO160 awareness is highly appreciated.
• Experience of managing suppliers is required.
• Fluent English skills

Beneficial to have:

• Basic knowledge of PDM/PLM and EWIS design CAD software (NX & Capital or similar)
• Fluent in German or any other language
