Infrastructure Engineer

Robert Walters are working with a leading Medical business that are looking to add an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to their team. You will be managing, maintaining and administering agreed IT services, ensuring the availability of critical IT systems at all times.This role is a 6 month FTC, paying 50K for the right candidate, requiring only 2 days on site each week.

Robert Walters are working with a leading Medical business that are looking to add an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to their team. You will be managing, maintaining and administering agreed IT services, ensuring the availability of critical IT systems at all times.

The role offers the opportunity to research and implement new technologies, including patching and deployment as part of IT projects, ongoing activities, event management and change affecting group managed services.

You will be working in accordance with the defined ITIL processes provide incident management, request fulfilment and access management services either as a first point of contact or in response to tickets escalated by first and second line support. Ensuring tickets are actioned in accordance with agreed SLA targets, using escalation processes where necessary.

You will also have the chance to work with the IT Service Delivery Team in support of the execution of disaster recovery testing.

• Microsoft Windows Server and desktop operating systems
• Cisco Network Devices
• Active Directory Administration
• VMWare infrastructure and Technologies
• Experience with LAN/WAN
• Experience with Fortinet Firewalls
• Knowledge of ITIL
• Anti Virus & Anti spam systems
