Python Software Engineer (Developer Programmer Python AWS GCP Azure Pandas NumPy SciPy Agile Data Engineering Glue Athena RDS Fixed Income Trading Front Office Derivatives Finance Financial Services Banking) required by our asset management client in London.

You MUST have the following:

• Experience ability as a Senior Python Software Engineer/Developer/Programmer
• Expert Python
• AWS, GCP or Azure
• Pandas, SciPy or NumPy
• Finance- not necessarily markets or Front Office trading
• Agile

The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:

• Data engineering (Athena, Glue etc)
• Fixed Income

Role: Python Software Engineer (Developer Programmer Python AWS GCP Azure Pandas NumPy SciPy Agile Data Engineering Glue Athena RDS Fixed Income Trading Front Office Derivatives Finance Financial Services Banking) required by our asset management client in London. You will join a team of 5 that are responsible for the Back End architecture that ingests and distributes all the data coming into Fixed Income technology from internal and external sources. The environment is mostly built in Python and hosted entirely in AWS. There will also be some work to build analytics products too.

The stack is Python, AWS- such as Glue and Athena, and some tools such as gRPC, protobuf, Apache Ignite and Airflow. You only need to come with strong Python and some exposure to AWS or another cloud provider. You must also come from the finance although this does not need to the Front Office.

The hybrid working set-up is 1-2 days/week in the office.

Salary: £120k - £150k + 20% Bonus + 10% Pension
