You MUST have the following:

• Strong experience as a .NET Developer/Programmer/Software Engineer
• Advanced microservices and ASP.NET Web API
• ASP.NET Core or .NET 6.0
• GCP, Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) commercially or in home projects
• Experience within a trading environment- exposure to equities, FX or bonds/Fixed Income products
• CI/CD technology
• Agile

The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:

• Knowledge of Fixed Income- such as government and corporate bonds (rates and credit), ABS, CDS, IRS etc
• Experience on the buy-side- hedge fund, asset management, investment management, wealth manager
• Experience with risk platforms

Role: .NET Developer (Software Engineer Programmer Developer .NET Core 6.0 Lead Technical .NET ASP.NET Web API .NET Core C# AWS Amazon Web Services Cloud Buy Side Buy-Side Risk Hedge Fund Asset Manager Management Investment Mutual Investment Risk Derivatives Front Office Front Office JavaScript Finance) required by our asset management client in London. You will join a department dedicated to investment risk- creating applications that aggregate the risk of the portfolios across the company. Within this department, there are 14 engineers. You will join 4 in order to deliver new components and functions of the application that could take 12-24 months to build. Your role will be very hands-on but you will also be expected to contribute towards design, architecture, technical strategy and best practices.

The department follows Agile with elements of TDD. You will be building the product in .NET Core on AWS. .NET Core and cloud experience, whether GCP, Azure or AWS, are mandatory.

This is an environment that has been described as the only corporate environment with a start-up/fintech attitude towards technology. Hours are 9-5.

Salary: £90k - £120k + 20% Bonus + 10% Pension
