Junior Validation Engineer

Based in Peterborough

Hourly Rate: £30/Hr Umbrella

12-month contract

Seeking to add a junior Performance and Validation Engineer within our Advanced Powertrain Development Team focussed on the delivery of Battery Pack and Power System performance and validation testing. As a Performance/Validation engineer, you will report daily to the Lead Validation Test Engineer.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct and/or direct Battery Pack performance and validation tests.
• Work with the program team and test facilities to develop test plans to meet Technical and Product Objectives under the supervision of the lead engineer.
• Conduct and/or direct data quality checks, test result integrity and repeatability.
• Data analysis across multiple Conformance, Performance and Validation test protocols.
• Produce technical reports and present data to program team and wider NPI team.
• Participate in the team knowledge sharing and processes development.
• Write requirements, procedures, and reports and formally present on test outcomes.

Required qualification/skills:

• Electric or Electronic Bachelor's degree (or equivalent years of experience) in an accredited Engineering curriculum
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for problem-solving and data analysis.
• Responsible, Self-motivated and eager to learn.
