Developer Experience Engineer (Go AWS) London/WFH to £85k

Are you a technologist with a broad range of skills and a strong knowledge of modern software development best practice?

You could be progressing your career in a hands-on role at a digital identification tech company that are helping to address some of society's most urgent issue around personal data security using biometric and anti-spoofing technology.

As a Developer Experience Engineer you will join the engineering community, you'll be working with DevOps and Software Engineers in an open, collaborative environment to help ensure that all teams are using best practice and that tech is at the heart of everything. You'll streamline existing processes and drive efficiencies, promoting a singular dev culture across all teams/product lines.

You'll help to manage CI/CD pipelines in Concourse and work with Software Engineers to provide best practice guidelines with the ultimate aim of automating everything and providing all the relevant tooling required to run/debug environments via tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and Kibana. There's a modern infrastructure encompassing microservices, Kubernetes and AWS; you'll be able to contribute to technical discussions and have your voice heard.

WFH Policy:

There's a remote first policy so you'll be able to work from most of the time, meeting up with colleagues once a month in the London office.

Requirements:

• You have a strong knowledge of Linux (Debian preferred) including command line tools and bash Scripting
• You have coding skills with at least one of the following: Go/Golang, Python, Java, Ruby, C or C++
• You have experience with Kubernetes and a basic knowledge of configuration management tools such as SaltStack and Terraform
• You're a technologist who enjoys meet-ups, tech events and staying abreast of new and emerging technology
• You're a natural, confident communicator able to achieve buy-in from experienced development teams
• You're pragmatic and able to facilitate meaningful communication between teams
