We are recruiting for a Tooling Development Engineer to join our leading aircraft manufacturing company that is at the forefront of innovating technologies.

• Inside IR35
• Office in Broughton - Hybrid working
• £35.00 per hour - umbrella

Tooling Development Engineer Overview:

• Throughout your role you will be responsible for creation, development and modifications of our jigs and tools
• You will liaise with wider members of the team including our Operations Manager when handing over completed projects
• You will be involved with research and development of industrial technologies and you will integrate requirements
• You will be required to design and specify requests according to specific requirements
• You will ensure that all solutions are completely integrated within the systems, that has been thoroughly tested surrounding Key Performance Indicators
• As a Tooling Development Engineer you will integrate maintenance inputs and feedback in Jig & Tool Work Specification
• Support root cause analysis of Non Conformities and improvement projects
• Throughout your role you will be involved with the purchasing phases of the Jigs and Tools assets
• You will be responsible for managing and leading Engineers when necessary to ensure all projects and deliverables are high quality and meet the arranged milestones
• Manage and lead Suppliers when applicable to ensure all Projects and Deliverables meet the required milestones

Tooling Development Engineer Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with experience in a manufacturing and engineering environment
• Ability to lead a team or lead a successful project
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent stakeholder management
