RF Engineer - Remote/Stevenage - £70 per hour Umbrella

We are recruiting for a RF Engineer on contract to work for a leading Missile Systems organisation to be based Remote and in their Stevenage or Bristol office. (Hybrid role)

The role will require 3 days a week onsite and 2 remotely.

Responsibilities:

A Systems Engineer with a strong RF competence is required to carry out RF communication system research and design activities.

Responsibilities will include:

• RF system performance modelling, prediction and assessment
• Requirements definition and management
• Performing technical investigations
• Problem assessments and proposal of design solutions
• System level functionality proving, Software/Firmware integration and proving
• RF system qualification and validation
• Resolution of customer and trials-related queries
• Interfacing with the supplier, customer community and its agencies

Skillset/experience required:

• The successful candidate will be a Systems Engineer with strong experience RF systems
• Top level understanding of RF systems and propagation.
• Must be able to achieve SC clearance.
• Proficiency in the use of MATLAB beneficial
