IT Project Manager SCM (m/f/d)

RED is pleased to be working with a global manufacturing business, looking for an IT Project Manager - Supply Chain Management (m/f/d) with a strong background in warehouse management to join their IT team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Having the end-to-end project responsibilities for logistics systems in the area of warehousing or yard management, including the project planning, set-up, testing and go-live
• Playing a key role in a global IT transformation, including acting as a functional lead for IT process managers, application specialists, developers, testers, key users and vendors
• Responsible for providing and reporting communication from/to project teams, program management, and other stakeholders
• Driving SAP technologies and themes, to identify further potential for improving warehouse and transportation management processes

Key Requirements:

• Proven track record in leading/co-leading IT logistics projects in international organisations (in-house), focusing on warehouse and transportation management
• Excellent knowledge in supply chain systems, with a strong background in SAP (e)WM and ERP(WM) or similar
• Proven experience in project management methodologies and tools such as Service Now, JIRA, MS, SCRUM-, PMI- and/or Prince 2, ideally in Agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills within business and IT; very good communication and influencing skills
• You are a collaborative team player with strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• within IT and towards business at all levels
• Fluency in English, German is an advantage
• Available to travel occasionally
