JavaScript/React/Next.js/Node Developer

Our client is a software development agency specializing in web and mobile app development. They are currently recruiting for an experienced JavaScript developer to join their team. To be considered you must have good experience with Node and React/Next.js as well as excellent JavaScript skills.

The role will primarily be focused on supporting a key client, helping to develop and maintain a collection of JavaScript-based applications with a core monolith and a few supporting microservices. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing high-quality applications and a desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to develop high-quality web applications using React/Next.js and Node.js

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices

• Develop and maintain APIs using Node.js and integrate them with Front End components

• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and consistency

• Work on multiple assignments simultaneously and meet varying deadlines

• Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in web development

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in JavaScript development

• Experience in React/Next.js and Node.js

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)

• Experience with Git version control system

• Familiarity with TypeScript is a plus but not required

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Evidence of ability through a strong portfolio/Github profile
