Job Responsibilities/Objectives

We are looking for an experienced BI developer to join a fantastic remote team, working on a range of tasks providing clients with key insights that will improve thair businesses.

1. Completing development tasks from a VSTS backlog.
2. Spotting bugs while testing and troubleshooting applications.
3. Working closely with other members of the team to collaborate on projects.
4. Creating reliable, reusable solutions.
5. Sharing knowledge and information to help improve internal skill sets and processes.

Required Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Previous professional experience working with BI solutions
2. Hands on experience working with Power BI or a similar BI reporting tool.
3. Some knowledge with data warehouse design.
4. Deep knowledge of databases (SQL).
5. Previous experience with the Azure stack, including Azure SQL, Data Factory, Storage Accounts, Azure Functions and Event Hub.

Desirable Skills/Experience

Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

1. Some knowledge of C# or other programming languages.
2. Good understanding of QA practices.
3. Be familiar with GIT, VSTS or JIRA.
