Lead Data Engineer - Azure

The Vision
The organisation is investing substantially in their Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams, as they steer towards full Azure migration with a wide PowerBI implementation, to be rolled out across their business. You will be a focal point in this project, with the support and delivery of an end-to-end warehouse solution.

The Role
The role will sit within a senior leadership team. You will have several direct reports, some with their own reports under them. You will consult and help to define strategy within the team, whilst supporting migrations and builds where possible with your technical skills. Azure experience is essential here, ideally with spots of architecture experience.

To be considered, we are looking for:
- Extensive career experience in Data Engineering
- Experience of engineering within an Azure environment
- Understanding of data lake and analytics components; like data bricks, python, data factory etc.
- Person management experience
- The ability to present at board level
