DevOps Engineer

Would you like to join a top DevOps team of a well-established business operating within the banking industry? Do you want to be the expert who will be responsible for installing, updating, protecting, providing for, and enhancing various software services?

This DevOps Engineer role could be your chance to use your wide range of IT engineering skills to deploy, operate, streamline, and eventually decommission software services in the Bank!

You would be responsible for the availability, latency, performance, efficiency, deployments, monitoring, emergency response, life cycle, and capacity planning of software services.

As well as, responsible for providing L2 production support and for delivering support and project requests and related activities and in charge of the operational aspects of integration with new or changed applications/services and for the integration with 3rd party systems and infrastructure. You could be the one encouraging, proposing, and building automated processes wherever possible.

All these will be done through continuous delivery of platform capabilities in the areas of containerization, automation, security, DevOps and CI/CD.

Your chances to secure this amazing opportunity will be higher if you have a computer Science or related engineering degree, with a solid experience in a DevOps/Agile setup, ideally in a banking environment, in an operational role, and a very good experience managing (deploying, troubleshooting, monitoring, etc.) micro-services in a Kubernetes (ideally OpenShift) cluster and distributed applications in any virtualized environment, using CI/CD tools.
