I am assisting a well known arm of the government in looking for a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Architect to join our organization. The Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing the technical infrastructure solutions for the critical systems and services.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and manage technical solutions to meet the BTP's infrastructure requirements for all systems and services.
• Ensure that the infrastructure design aligns with the overall IT strategy of the organization and complies with industry standards such as ISO 27001.- Work closely with the IT team to identify infrastructure.
• Related issues and provide solutions for them on time.
• Develop and maintain network and security architecture, disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Provide technical guidance to other departments within the organization, including project management, development, and operations teams.
• Document infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures in order to maintain clear and up-to-date documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies, tools, and methodologies and make recommendations to the IT department accordingly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Proven experience in Infrastructure Architecture
• Good knowledge of network and security protocols, including Firewalls, VPNs and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Solid understanding of virtualization technologies, including VMware or Hyper-V.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically Microsoft Azure or AWS.- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
• Strong project management and documentation skills
