Assay Scientist
Responsibilities:
Working within the assay development team collaborating in the development of immunoassays.
You will be in responsible for designing and conducting experiments to enable the development of our innovative biosensor technology.
Reagent formulation and development/testing of POC product and product prototypes
Evaluation of raw materials and development of optimal reagent formulations
Troubleshooting abilities and ability to apply knowledge gained within developing assays to solve assay specific problems
Utilise technical knowledge to apply novel solutions to assist with the characterisation and improvement of products and processes
Act and work independently on own initiative and/or collaboratively with cross functional teams
Communicating results within internal meetings

Requirements:
- Qualification in Biochemistry, Biology or Immunology with 2+ years industry experience
- Excellent laboratory skills and awareness and Health and Safety including COSHH assessments
- understand how to manage data being collected (data management and data analysis)
