IT Support Specialist - Windows/Support/Software

Roc Search are currently recruiting for an IT Support Specialist to join a highly successful team working for a global Shipping and Logistics company based in Accrington. They are growing rapidly at the moment, as such there is an exciting opportunity for someone coming in. You will need to come to the office 3 days a week.

You would be providing 1st and 2nd line support for the internal and external. The support provided will be reactive, based on the tickets that come in, and then subsequently proactive in order to try and minimise repeat issues with the same root cause. It will be a mix of remote/troubleshooting support and deskside/onsite support, you would do your best to resolve any tickets that come through, but you do have an escalation point if needed. They are expanding rapidly at the moment so you may have the chance to get involved in projects as well.

Please note this will be a 12 month Fixed Term Contract with a possibility of extension.

Essential skills include:

• Experience in a similar role

• Microsoft stack (Windows, Active Directory etc.)

Advantageous skills include:

• Shipping and Logistics or Retail industry experience
