Job Title: Media Public Relationship Manager - Dutch speaking

Job Location: Rijswijk, the Netherlands

Main Responsibilities:

Corporate Communications:

• Strategic corporate communications and narrative for our client in support of reputation management for our client
• Develop corporate communication planning cycle (eg strategy, plans, and quarterly reviews, monthly reporting)
• Main contact for WEU and HQ PACD teams when it involves communications and/or media enquiries.
• Arrange media engagement and presence for events/projects for all European engagements when it involves the Dutch press.
• Corporate communications management (internal/external)
• CEO Communications (internal/external)
• Contract management - ensure continuation of supplier/agency contracts
• Crisis communications and Issues management
• Project/Business communications needs
• Supervise Media manager and Digital Communications advisor
• Communications for CSR projects as/when required
• Implement and deliver CSR projects

Media:

• Media management (Trade/General - on/offline)
• Develop media strategies
• Act as a Spokesperson
• Media buying (print, online, podcast), positioning and placement
• Contract management
• Content development and media briefs
• Media monitoring and reporting
• Manage and maintain NL-based Media ecosystem

Marketing:

• MarComms support and campaign development for the business (connect with other marketing leads - digital power, EBG, etc.)
• Digital communications strategy
• Manage content for online channels (with support from other digital agencies)
• Content development (with support from content writers)
• Social Media Management
• Website development and maintenance
• Monthly reporting

Requirements:

Professional Knowledge:

• Master and/or Bachelor in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, International Business Relations, Public Affairs, Political Science
• 10+ years of professional experience in corporate communication (internal/external), reputation management, campaigns, press, media (social media), project communications, change communications and event organization
• Demonstrated awareness of global ICT Industry related issues.
• Ability to work in a Matrix organization
• Affinity with challenging external environment involving reputation management
• Experience positioning in the external environment ie media
• Experience in managing agencies with senior and skilled professionals
• Native/fluent Dutch speaker with excellent grammar, proofing and writing skills
• Excellent language capability in English, both written and verbally
