Associate Product Manager (software) opportunity has arisen to join at the start of a new digital platform's journey; an external customer facing application for a global academic organisation.
You will work alongside a Senior Product Manager on the more granular level details in an agile driven environment, working closely with software development teams and business analysts, complementing the existing product manager's more strategy focused skill set.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone passionate about software/digital products and looking to develop their product management skills in what is, a well-paced working environment.
The role will be based remotely in the UK however, you will need to be able to meet with the product team in Oxfordshire at least 1-3 times/month.
As the Associate Software Product Manager you will:
- Have experience of the full product life cycle and use that to complement and work alongside a Senior Product Manager
- Work as a Product Manager having worked in a Product Owner/Product Manager capacity previously
- Use your software development life cycle experience to work closely with software development teams in an agile delivery environment
- Have proven experience of working with both internal and external stakeholders on a global level
- Communicate and collaborate intelligently whilst building good working relationships, in a supportive team environment and whilst adapting your approach accordingly.
- Contribute towards the product strategy and roadmap being managed by the Senior Product Manager
- Be commercially focused with a keen focus on customers and users
