We are working with a prestigious firm in London, who are seeking an Applications Engineer to join their team. When in the role, you will work closely with both the business, IT, and project teams to develop and support the processes and applications across the firm, supplementing the IT team's capacity to support and maintain an environment that continues to grow both in scale and complexity.

As an Applications Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, including MS SQL, RESTful service, cloud-native API's, and web-related technologies. You should also have strong technical skills in developing solutions in Microsoft 365 (PowerApps, Power Automate, and SharePoint) and experience in designing and implementing Power Platform solutions.

By working with the Power Platform suite of applications, including Power BI, you will gain valuable experience that is highly sought after in the current job market, increasing your career prospects and earning potential. The successful candidate should have experience with T-SQL, SSRS, database design, analysis, and development of Microsoft Data Warehouses and ETL.

You should also have a good understanding and experience of RESTful service, cloud native API's using frameworks such as iManage work 10/NetDocuments, 3E, and M365, and knowledge of at least one of the more common programming/Scripting languages would be advantageous, such as C#, Python, or JavaScript.

Additionally, experience with developing a workflow system and core legal sector-specific applications such as NetDocuments/iManage, Interaction, IntApp products, Elite 3E IDE, and OQL, EDG Design Gallery is desirable. A good understanding of ITIL to Foundation level and an appreciation of 'Service Transition' concepts and best practices would be advantageous.
