Software Engineer (GO/GoLang) - C/C++, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Rest API, AWS

Our rapidly growing Communications client based in London is seeking a dynamic, hands-on and technically astute GO/GoLang Software Engineer with strong skills in C/C++, Linux, Docker, AWS, Kubernetes and APIs.

As GO/GoLang Software Engineer you will help develop sophisticated mobile communication systems (Windows, Android & iOS) and play a key role in enhancing the messaging, voice and video features of the secure comms systems.

Technical skills and experience

• Strong experience of Server Side development using C/C++, GoLang
• Experience of using open source comms technologies (XMPP, SIP, RTP, and WebRTC)
• Use of containerisation, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
• Knowledge of a nix desktop environment (GNU/Linux)
• Good knowledge of AWS
• Strong experience of Restful APIs (including Authorisation/Authentication) and Databases (Postgres/SQL)

The successful Software Engineer (GO/GoLang) will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as being proactive and results-orientated.

Any experience with GIT, JIRA and Agile/Scrum-like development is desired.

Current SC Clearance or the ability to be Security cleared is required for this role.

This is a permanent remote position (with travel to the office in London 2 times per month) and is paying a salary of up to £65,000 (DOE) + good benefits.
