Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer required by a high-tech technology company located in Poole. They are on a upward trajectory of growth and are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team which currently comprises of electronic and software engineers. This will be the first Mechanical Design Engineer in the UK for this company.

The successful Mechanical Design Engineer is likely to have a relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering and proven experience of full life cycle mechanical design.

Experience in a high-tech, product development based environment would be highly advantageous - eg medical devices, sensors, design consultancy etc. The Mechanical Design Engineer will work in a collaborative environment alongside other engineers in software, electronics and other areas.

Key experience

- AutoCAD or similar

- Injection moulding techniques

- Appreciation for aesthetics

- Development of products for harsh environments
