They are based in central Leicester, ( roles are mainly remote, expectation is in office about once a month ) are a SaaS company, they create innovative technology that makes business communications easier, quicker and more powerful by providing advanced communications software. You can be based commutable from either the London or Leicester offices and the roles are very much Hybrid with plenty of work from home .

They have offices in Leicester, London, Sydney Australia and Boston in the US .

As a well-rounded Full Stack Software Engineer your Skills and Experiences likely include:

A comprehensive understanding of the software development domain, complete with principles, patterns and modern best practices, and the capability to both personally and collaboratively produce work to those standards.

Web API design & development using REST, with associated standards such as OAS3 and JSON schema.

API tooling and infrastructure.

Agile development methodologies and practices, particularly iterative and incremental delivery of customer driven value.

Test-driven development. CI/CD with Gitlab pipelines.

Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, AWS (SQS/SNS, EC2, Dynamo, RDS, lambda), & docker & Kubernetes would be advantageous.

Core languages used: C#, .NET Framework and .NET Core, NodeJS/typescript/React.

Day-to-day, you will:

• Be an experienced Development Engineer, partnering with our team working on integrating with CRMs. You will be an accomplished and experienced Back End developer with a good understanding of modern development principles and practices as well as excellent communication skills.

• You'll be joining a cross-functional development team working with the rest of the squad in an agile manner to develop new microservices as well as maintain existing services, including Legacy applications.

• You will be driving CI & automation initiatives to improve deployment practices, including GitLab Pipelines, Terraform and Docker configuration. Designing and developing simple solutions to complex problems which demonstrate scalability, performance, and resilience.

• You'll play an active and engaged role in squad meetings and ceremonies, working closely with product managers and agile coaches to understand customer needs and shape requirements that enable iterative development and fast feedback. Working closely with the DevOpsteam to create strategies for cloud hosting (we use AWS) and deployment, advising on and utilising the most appropriate solutions to fit the current need.
