Application Systems Engineer

We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who required an Application Systems Engineer- Aldermaston Reading (Onsite) one of their public sector Clients based in UK.

• IR35: This role is inside of IR35.
• Initial duration: 12 months
• Clearance required: Must be DV cleared.

Role and tasks

Minimum Requirement:

• Awareness of additional technology areas such as VMWare, Virtualisation, Networking and Converged Infrastructure.
• Broad knowledge of IT and Information related principles, standards, and requirements when operating within UK legislative environments.
• Working knowledge of ITIL framework. Technical investigation and problem-solving skills.
• Highly proficient computing skills.
• Good communicator (Written and oral) with sound facilitation skills.
• Ability to operate under pressure and influence decisions.
• Resolution of tasks and incidents
• Understanding of windows 2019/20/22
• Networking skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Infrastructure skills
• Change management
• ITL qualified or understanding of ITL processes.
