Senior Manufacturing Engineer

iO Associates is looking for a PERMANENT Senior Manufacturing Engineer to work for UK's leading developer and manufacturer of sophisticated exhaust management systems and provider of industrial productivity solutions based in the Eastbourne area.

This is a permanent role; you will be providing manufacturing engineering support to the manufacturing operational team where needed. You will own the manufacturing system within the allocated manufacturing cells by the maintenance and continuous improvement of the safe and LEAN processes.

Locations: Eastbourne

Salary: up to £48K

Working Pattern: Hybrid (2-3 days in the office)

A successful candidate will have:

• HNC/D NVQ level 4 In engineering.
• Manufacture drives and controllers for the pumps.
• PCB assembly, component manufacture and fitting then test.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in electronics manufacturing (PCB Assembly etc), electromechanical assembly.

Responsibilities:

• To design, prove, implement and maintain Cell manufacturing system layout.
• To integrate new products into existing cell and agree standards for expectance into the cell.
• Drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, cost reduction and process improvement.
