Operations Engineer

We are looking for an Operations Engineer for our clients in Zurich.

Duration: 6 months (can turn to perm

• First level support for several Pool-PC implementations
• Support for software life cycle management (Docker licenses, potentially also licenses for Zebra BI)
• Willingness to familiarize oneself with the topic of SQL Server administration (including Windows Server)
• Requirements gathering and consultation for the design and implementation of evaluations and for the optimization of data preparation, analysis, and algorithms.
• Merging and harmonizing structured and unstructured data sets in different formats from different data sources
• Identifying relevant patterns in data
• Monitoring data quality including consultation/proactive proposals for ongoing improvement of the pool PC
• Maintaining relevant documentation

Essential skills and qualifications

• Knowledge of T-SQL
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Basic knowledge of Power BI
• Basic programming skills, experience with R (dplyr, shiny, R-Studio) is a plus.
• Experience with Git
