Summary of Role

Ready to take your next career steps in IT within one of the largest hospital trusts with an outstanding record in clinical excellence and teaching? You will play a key role in supporting the wider Digital Team through providing technical consulting services, contributing to technical delivery and testing, and serving as the technical resource developing and demonstrating specialised knowledge in ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development and configuration of: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalogue, Knowledge, Release/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Asset Management, Configuration Management (CMDB), Dashboards and Reporting.

• Collaborate within the Digital Team to define, analyse, understand, and document technical requirements.

• Design and configure workflows, forms, scripts, and underlying logic. Review and build ServiceNow requirements.

• Build test plans, maintain technical tasks and manage ServiceNow upgrades.

• Analyse, troubleshoot, fix identified issues, provide post-implementation support, and undertake system administration.

• Review and manage incidents and changes to the ServiceNow platform as necessary.

• User administration, platform performance, upgrades, configuration, and security.

The ideal candidate will:

• Proficient in the methods of planning and monitoring projects.

• Have experience working in a ITIL environment.

• Experience developing and deploying with the ServiceNow platform.

• Scripting language experience, such as: JavaScript, HTML and XHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX.

• 3rd party integration experience with ServiceNow platform using REST, SOAP, SFTP, MID, etc.

• ServiceNow Certification desirable.

• Educated to degree level or, sufficient professional qualification and experience.
