Senior Software Engineer - Python, React, Typescript, JavaScript - Fully Remote - to £90k + Share Options + Bonus and Benefits

Orbis are working with a unique, AI scale-up with a hard to copy, product in hypergrowth stage. As part of their continuous improvement plans, we are now searching for remote first, Backend Engineers with proven experience in Python (C++ desirable), JavaScript, Typescript, React and working in an AWS/GCP and Microservices environment.

The ideal candidate should be self-driven, ambitious and entrepreneurial. They must be able to balance technical debt and productivity both individually and at a team level. Must be eager and able to learn quickly and to improve. Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality are necessary.

Required Skills:

• Degree, Master's or PhD degree in a technical or engineering field.
• At least 3 years of Software engineering experience with Unit Testing, Integration Testing,
• Continuous Integration, Code-Style Guidelines, Continuous Development and Version Control
• System in a product-oriented professional working environment.
• Expert coding in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python and React.
• Expert coding in C++ is a plus.
• Experience in architecting, designing, and developing Back End applications.
• Experience with Back End testing.
• Demonstrated AWS

Interview Process:

1st stage: 60 minute call with CTO and Senior Engineer/small live code challenge.

2nd stage: 60 minute VC with CEO
