SQL Server DBA

My well established Oxfordshire based innovated Client is urgently recruiting for a SQL Server DBA to be responsible for providing both SQL Server Database Administration for group application and infrastructure administration, relating to security processes.

The chosen Candidate will play a key role in the day to day/evolving data strategy working with the data team and applications team in creating a database structure to support innovation initiatives throughout the company.

The role will provide technical support to the Head of IT Security to help the business focusing on the systems, data and infrastructure from a security perspective.

The focus for the chosen SQL Server DBA will create and manage multiple databases and assist in capacity planning.

Monitoring, maintaining and tuning databases to optimise availability of service and troubleshoot performance issues.

Maintain data integrity and security, whilst developing strategies, implementing solutions for managing backups, restoration and replication, creating, managing constraints and indexes.

This is a hybrid role, with the main location being their Oxford office.
