IT Support Technician (1st & 2nd Line)

I am searching for an ambitious IT Support Technician to be a part of my clients newly formed team.
The ideal candidate should be customer-sensitive, innovative, dependable, and able to provide technical solutions to problems. They should also be proactive in identifying and addressing faults before they impact employees and should contribute to the development of operational procedures and policies.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the wider Global Information Services team and in-country IT teams. There are opportunities for learning and development in multiple technologies, learning best practices, and shaping the future of customer service within the team.
100% onsite.
Key responsibilities:
Reporting to the Service Center Manager, the Service Center Analyst will provide initial triage and support onsite and proactively perform daily checks. Their responsibilities will include providing customer and technical support service for incidents and requests reported via the service center support portal, telephone, or face to face. They will also be responsible for proactively identifying and resolving problems, maintaining and updating the knowledge base content, reviewing operational procedures and policies, considering relevant changes to best practice, and IT asset management.
Key skills and experience:
To perform this role, the candidate must be able to work in a diverse and inclusive environment, respect and collaborate with all individuals equally, and have a commitment to overcoming bias and prejudice. They must be a good team worker and internal collaborator, possess strong documentation skills, and be quick to resolve problems.
The ideal candidate should have experience in Windows Server implementation, Active Directory, DNS, TCP/IP, network fundamentals, SSL certificate understanding, O365/InTune, Windows 10, and MS Office installation and troubleshooting. They should also have experience building laptops/desktops using InTune.
To be considered for this role, it is ideal for the candidate to have at least three years of experience in a customer support capacity and awareness of customer support best practices (ITIL and ITSM). There are no formal educational requirements, but ITIL v3/v4 certification is desirable.
