C#/Javascript Developer - Umbraco/Asp.NET sought by leading financial services organisation based in Bracknell.

Job purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ASP.NET software engineer developer to join our team in delivering innovative, reliable, and robust web-based software solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and maintaining web applications using the MVC design pattern along with implementing SOLID principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Front End libraries and frameworks
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to bring new features and products to life
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Write unit and automation tests using testing toolsets and frameworks
• Keep up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies
• Test and debug web applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure compatibility and seamless integration of the web application with other systems

Key Skills and Experience

• Significant experience in web application development
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript technologies eg React
• Strong knowledge of responsive web design
• Experience of using MVC design pattern alongside with web APIs
• Experience with Git, Jira, and Agile development methodologies
• Familiarity working with design tools eg Figma
• Familiarity working with CMS frameworks eg Umbraco
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
