Leading Electronics manufacturer now requires a Senior Software Engineer to join their technical development team. This Engineer will lead a small team and take a hands-on role with a full end-to-end solution using a range of technologies.

You will be involved with our clients data monitoring system which provides customers with user friendly tools for Managing IoT devices and monitoring critical data.

The role:

Lead a team and take a hands-on approach to design, build, and maintain efficient product and features which comply with practices and industry standards.
Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automation.
Writing and maintaining unit and UI tests.
Writing and maintaining documentation associated with the development process.
Provide help and guidance to junior team members.

About you:

Proven experience leading a team of engineers.
Solid programming experience using python and Vue.js
Front End/UI experience.
Experience in JavaScript, node.js, HTML, CSS and web API and RESTful services is desirable.
Practical experience with object-oriented programming and REST based APIs.
An understanding of cloud technology (Azure cloud services is desirable)
An understanding of CI/CD strategies.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, NoSQL is desirable.

This fantastic opportunity provides a base salary of up to £75,000 plus excellent benefits.

In terms of office location, this role is based out of Milton Keynes with 3 days per week in office and 2 days working from home (60/40).
