HPC Grid engineer

Role: HPC Grid engineer

HPC Grid Engineer. Client is London based. Permanent. Hybrid Working.

Job Purpose:

To help drive the development requirements for HPC platforms and supporting infrastructure. Build relationships with quantitative, software engineering, and data science teams to ensure the HPC Platform meets their needs. Help design and deploy the HPC platform, and work closely with other teams that provide data and tooling and services that will need to be integrated with the platform.

Skills required:

• Experience consulting with business units to develop HPC Solutions
• Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms
• Knowledge of configuration and automation tools, such as Chef, Ansible, Salt, Packer
• Systems engineering knowledge, including understanding of Linux, security, and networking
