Data Management Operations Lead - New Jersey (Remote)

Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for an experienced Data Management Operations Lead for a project with our international consumer goods client located in US.

Requirements for the Data Management Operations Lead opportunity:

• Knowledge of Master Data operations
• Proven experience partnering with RDQ/Supply Chain/Finance/Commercial teams in delivering internally master data services and externally digital product data to customers across most demanding markets
• 5+ years of professional experience in business processes operations, with relevant experience in Master Data Management & process transformation
• 3+ years in master data roles in large global/regional teams including direct team management
• Experience in SAP MDG, PIM solutions and/or other product data solutions
• SAP S/4 knowledge is a plus
• Consumer goods industry experience is also a plus
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Fluency in English (knowledge of any other language is a plus)

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver a MD operational service into the region
• Establish and implement master data management capabilities and best practices processes aligned with the Region digital transformation, data goals and priorities
• Build effective engagement and relationship with BU Leaders and their teams, data stewards and SME to understand the master data needs, dependencies and identify opportunities for business process optimization and standardization
• Assess, evaluate, and analyze data challenges and provide recommendations on the resolution.
• Ensure alignment with Enterprise Data Governance to plan for NA implementation
• Change agent to document, communicate, train and drive change with business unit
• Review and approve SOX audit files on monthly/quarterly basis additionally support Internal Controls and PWC audits on a periodic basis as well.
• Ensure Data Quality, Performance mgt, process & tool improvements, CI, SOP's - all in close collaboration with Global/Regional process leads and Testing/training, quality, performance.
• Serves as a point of escalation for operations, data governance and data quality issues.
• Support in developing regional data management roadmap for Data Transformation projects.
• Educates business users on the importance of data governance framework and support the global governance framework implementation in the NA region.
• Establishes and governs an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities.
• Works closely with the business stakeholders to improve the quality of core data assets.
