They have been established for over 35 years and are the forefront of designing equipment and systems to meet and exceed environmental legislation in marine, offshore and industrial markets. These markets are worldwide and covers 45 countries that requires support.
We have over 30,000 monitors and systems installed word-wide and supply to major International Shipping companies, leading off-shore Oil & Gas Operators as well as Premier Land Based Industrial Organisations.
We are currently advertising for a Service Engineer position to meet our continued growing demand. The job role requires an individual that help deliver an unrivalled, flexible service to our client service base, agents and international distributor service centres which means a "drop of a hat" reaction to be on a plane at short notice where required.
Previous experience in the field of maritime is preferred.
Mandatory
Educated to GCSE level/NVQ level 2 and above.
A full valid driver's license and passport.
Willingness and ability to travel.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all areas of the business.
PC literate.
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise and react to assigned tasks in accordance with business needs.
Hands-on, process orientated and highly driven self-starter with good planning skills and versatility to adjust to changing priorities.
Ability to carry out electrical & Mechanical fault finding.
Desirable
Technical experience working within marine, offshore and industrial industries in a similar service role.
Experience of working in a small to medium sized company.
Mechanical/Engineering/Production experience.
Experience in a hazardous environment (explosive atmospheres, ATEX, IECEX)
Experience working within a regulated industry preferable.
