Global Category Specialist Fully Remote - Inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Category Manager to join our client's team, a well-established company that specialises in collecting consumer data. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for managing and developing the company's global category strategies and driving cost savings across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement category management strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance.
• Conduct market analysis to identify and evaluate new suppliers, technologies and trends.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage supplier relationships to ensure delivery of high-quality products and services.
• Develop and implement strategies to manage risks associated with supply chain activities.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
• Collaborate with finance and other departments to develop cost models and negotiate contracts.
• Stay up to date with market trends, regulations, and industry best practices.
