Senior Frontend Developer - Stockholm, Sweden - Permanent opportunity

I am supporting a European online food store on their search for a Senior Frontend Developer for their team in Stockholm on a permanent basis.

Who they are:
They are a well-known online food retailer in the European E-commerce sector. They collaborate with major food and FMCG companies to help decrease food waste and develop a solution at a lower cost. Currently present in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Germany, with future intentions to expand to the UK and other countries. They like challenging the idea of sustainable consumption and urging everyone to make a simple contribution to saving the environment. You will:

• Be responsible to continue to plan, design and develop the Front End architecture which involves React, Next.js, Redux and TypeScript.
• Have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects and have an influence in the overall vision and long term goals of the team.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers and product managers to build a great user experience.
• Continuously working on the improvement of Front End quality by individual contribution and through your team to solve complex challenges around performance and code reusability.
• Determine and develop new and existing processes.
• Actively review your peers' pull request with constructive feedback.
• Identify, assess and manage risk within the product and technical stack.

Expectations:

• 5+ years of professional experience within Frontend Development.
• A solid understanding of Web and Node APIs, semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
• Experience with TypeScript and know how to use it effectively.
• Enjoy coaching other developers, helping them grow and unlock their potential.
• Experience working with TDD (Test-Driven Development)
• Experience or interest in UX work, A/B testing, and have a customer-centric mindset.
• Experience in working within E-commerce or retail is a plus (if you don't have it yet, we'll teach you everything we know).
