ICT-Application Engineer

General Information:

Start: February 2023

Duration: 11 months with option of extension

Workload: 80-100%

Location: Zurich, Berne, at least 2 days per week (non-continuous) on site in Zurich. The remote part must also be carried out in Switzerland.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Provide SAP Data Services (DS) job and import data into the Information Steward (IS) staging area.

Manual start of individual DS jobs on demand

Implement SAP Views as connection to S/4HANA

Implement error handling job SAP Data Services and interfaces into S/4

Ensuring the performance of the jobs (optimising the jobs to reduce the throughput)

Ordering the rights for the RFC users

Submit support requests and CR to SAP

Support the migration team with questions in the S/4 DQ environment

Collaboration in the architecture of the DQ environments to be adapted

Required qualifications:

Several years of professional experience in the SAP environment (min. 3 years):

Experience with SAP Data Services (DS)

Experience 3rd level support for S/4HANA and SAP BO

Application support SAP DS

Rights management S/4HANA

CDS Views (Core data services) specialist

Knowledge of ODQ API

English: good written and verbal skills (able to communicate with English speaking developers)

German: business fluent

Desired qualifications:

SAFe Practitioner

Experience in the implementation of monitoring batch jobs

Experience in analysing and resolving DS incidents (2nd and 3rd level)

Experience with Python
