Role: Senior PHP Developer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
Job Type: Permanent
Hybrid Based position 4 Day working week (2 in office 2 at home)

Premier Technology have partnered with a market leading software solutions provider who are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join their team. The Ideal candidate will be a developer with some experience of working within project & team management who can take the initiative on ongoing software projects.
Key Role and Responsibilities of the Senior PHP Developer:
Review current code.
Develop new product features, fix bugs, and optimize code performance and quality.
Communicate with project team members to understand and further develop requirements.
Work with third part suppliers and system integrators, maintaining existing and developing new APIs and integrations.
Understand how Information Governance requirements should be implemented to ensure security of data.
Work with technical team to create development documentation and implement best coding practice.
Work with senior executive team to define workloads, software priorities and attend planning meetings.
Coordinate software priorities and maintain record of software project statuses.
Be responsible for deployment and release process for PI software products.Keys Skills of the Senior PHP Developer
Proficient in PHP/Laravel or other modern framework
Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3
Knowledge of Agile working practices
Understanding of overall application design, client, server and/or microservices
Ability to work from a technical spec and build functionality
Experience of using Git
Experience with MySQL database
