Job Title: Service Desk Manager
Salary: Circa £45,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Full-time, Hybrid, 4 days office
Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
The Job:
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Desk Manager to lead a service desk team in delivering exceptional IT support to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing a service desk team and a track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
The Service Desk Manager will take responsibility for:
* Manage a team of service desk technicians and act as the escalation point
* Ensure the service desk operates efficiently and effectively
* Develop and implement service desk policies and procedures
* Monitor service desk performance, conducting regular performance reviews
* Manage service desk projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
* Build and maintain positive relationships with clients
* Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices
As Service Desk Manager, you'll have:
* A track record of Technical Service Desk Management
* 3+ years of experience in a 3rd line technical support role
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong leadership, with the ability to motivate and engage team members
* Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
* Understanding of SLAs and KPIs
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to understand and troubleshoot complex IT issues
