At South Staffs Water we deliver clean and reliable water supplies to around 1.7 million customers within the South Staffs and Cambridge regions through a network of 8,500km of underground pipes.

We are looking to recruit a GIS Enterprise Specialist to join our support and development team as we further increase the capability of our ESRI ArcGIS system to deliver operational and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities & Knowledge:

• Administration of ArcGIS Enterprise in a federated environment - versions 10.6 and above - including access control for using Portal, ArcGIS Server, and Licence Manager
• Configuration and management of ArcGIS Server REST services including standard and custom geo-processing tools, as well as Server and Desktop extensions such as Attribute Assistant, Data Reviewer, and Workflow Manager
• Support administration and development of versioned multiuser geodatabases hosted on MS SQL Server and Oracle as well as replication and synchronisation techniques
• Previous deployment experience around ArcGIS Enterprise/Server, including configuration of web adaptors and server federation in either On Premise or Cloud environments
• Experience in the use of ArcGIS Model Builder, Python (ArcPy), Arcade and Notebooks as well as ETL skills using ArcGIS Data Interoperability extension or Safe software s FME
• Knowledge of key ESRI ArcGIS software, including ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro with the ability to cascade knowledge and advice to users at all levels.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to work proactively on their own as well as collaboratively within a team.

You should have a Degree in GIS or relevant IT discipline, with proven Industry experience, or have previous experience in a similar role within the UK Utilities Industries. You will be able to evidence appropriate database skills using either SQL Server, Oracle or PostgreSQL together with excellent communication skills.
