Position: Business Development Executive
Suitable for: Business Development Executive, Sales Executive, Sales Representative, Account Executive, Account Manager
Location: Flexible working: Hybrid or Wetherby
Job Type: Part time or Full time available
Salary: £25,000 to £45,000 depending on experience
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Business Development Executive to join our internal team at Solo Search. The ideal candidate will be self-organising, proactive, dependable with the ability to work in a changing environment.
In return Solo Search are happy to offer flexibility of either part time or full time hours Monday to Friday. We have a great office environment, relaxed and very friendly staff. We would be happy to offer flexibility of office working or hybrid, however we would like someone within a comfortable and commutable distance to Wetherby.
Essential Experience / Attributes Required:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Business Development Executive role or similar
* Experience of B2B sales is essential
* Experience in digital marketing and brand promotion
* Commercial awareness: able to confidently research and understand new markets
* Ability to communicate confidently and clearly
* Excellent written/documentation skills
* Highly motivated
* Can multitask and prioritise tasks
* Good use of computer skills
Desirable:
* Experience working within the Recruitment or Technology sector is highly desirable
Business Development Executive - The Role:
* Researching rapidly growing markets and industries
* Identifying both established and start-up companies serving those markets across nationwide.
* Approaching key personnel within those companies and organising sales presentations
* Attending networking events to expand and explore new business opportunities
* Utilising inbound leads, outbound contact, calls, emails and socials contact.
* Qualifying prospects based on their current business challenges and needs using targeted and relevant questions.
* Launching new initiatives
* Coordinating business development activities
