Our client is a global manufacturer of tension and compression testing machinery.
They are currently looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team in Redhill.
The role will incorporate working within the assembly team building mechanical testing machines and other accessories.
You will be fitting together mechanical parts including wiring looms and electronic display components. Working with Pillar Drills, Lathes, Grinders and other tool room machinery and hand tools.
You will be reading from drawings, assembling, testing and on occasions fabricating special tools if required.
You will need to be time served Mechanical Engineer apprentice or educated to HND/ONC Level, be able to read mechanical drawings and complete relevant paperwork (timesheets, work orders etc.)along with other tasks relating to an organized, structured, safety conscious mechanical fitter within a professional organisation.
39 hours a week, Monday to Friday (08:00 - 16:30). Immediate match for the right candidate
