TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation on an exciting new project in London. They are looking for two experienced Mechanical Fitters to become part of an ever expanding and skilled team on a permanent basis.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance to all building services, heating and ventilation, hot & cold-water mechanical systems.
Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
Maintain accurate records of all preventative maintenance and repair work carried out and report any substandard or defective equipment.
Perform scheduled maintenance service on building services systems and boiler systems and fixtures.
Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes
PDA use and the ability to undertake Risk Assessments.
Ensure Health and Safety policies are adhered to at all times.
Administer and complete relevant paperwork for all assignments and forward to the appointed office for filing.
Be on a call out rota.Pay: £40,000.
Please note, one role will require the contractor to work on a mobile basis.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates will be required to be cleared to CTC clearance level due to site requirements.
Must have served a recognised apprenticeship and obtained Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering.
Gas Safe Registration
Completed ACOP L8 in Legionella awareness.
Computer Literate in Microsoft office including Excel, and Word.
Clean Driving licence and able to drive company vehicles.
